Licensed, ECE-certified daycare inside the Ranch Park boundary. Under 5 minutes from Spuraway Avenue. Now enrolling ages 3+.
Looking for daycare in Ranch Park? Love Kids Daycare Coquitlam is inside the neighbourhood at 3007 Pasture Cir, licensed and ECE-certified, and now enrolling ages 3 and up for September. Pasture Circle is one of the original western-themed streets from the 1950s development wave (right alongside Wagon Wheel Circle, Saddle Street, and Lazy A), so families walking or driving down Spuraway Avenue or Ranch Park Avenue can be at our door in under 5 minutes.
Ranch Park is the home neighbourhood, not an outer area. That means the page you are on doubles as the local landing page for the pocket of Coquitlam we actually operate inside. If you live between Dewdney Trunk Road and Como Lake Avenue, between Westwood Street and Mariner Way, this is your closest licensed daycare.
The City of Coquitlam draws Ranch Park with four hard borders. Barnet Highway and Dewdney Trunk Road on the north. Westwood Street on the east. Como Lake Avenue on the south. Mariner Way and Chilko Drive on the west. The whole pocket covers 306 hectares (756 acres) and holds close to 8,000 residents. It is a compact hillside neighbourhood with views to Mount Baker, the Golden Ears, and Burke Mountain across the Town Centre bowl.
Pasture Circle sits inside those lines, west of Westwood Street and south of Dewdney Trunk Road. That geography is why we are IN Ranch Park, not near it. From the eastern edge you come out Spuraway Avenue. From the western slope you come down Ranch Park Avenue and turn onto Norman Avenue. Either way it is a straight residential drive with no highway ramps.
We are at 3007 Pasture Cir, Coquitlam, BC V3C 2C3. From anywhere inside the Ranch Park boundary the drive is under 5 minutes. Call (604) 338-8020 and we will give you the turn-by-turn from your specific street.
Every level of school this neighbourhood feeds is inside SD43's Coquitlam catchment, and the elementary school is right here in the neighbourhood. Ranch Park Elementary is at 2701 Spuraway Avenue (the same street a lot of families use to reach us). Opening bell is 8:52 am and dismissal is 2:45 pm. That is the rhythm we schedule around.
From there, kids feed to Hillcrest Middle for grades 6 to 8, then Dr. Charles Best Secondary for grades 9 to 12. Charles Best carries a French Immersion stream, which is part of why so many Ranch Park families put down roots and stay. Same neighbourhood, same three schools, K through 12. Our preschool program is built to send kids into that Ranch Park Elementary kindergarten class already used to circle time, group activities, and following an educator's cues.
If you have a school-age child at Ranch Park Elementary and a preschooler here at 3007 Pasture Cir, the whole morning happens on two streets. Drop the preschooler at Pasture Circle. Loop back to Spuraway Avenue for the 8:52 am bell. Done.
Coquitlam Central Station sits right on the northeast corner of the Ranch Park boundary. That station carries the Millennium Line SkyTrain and the West Coast Express commuter train into downtown Vancouver. Lincoln Station and Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station are the next two stops north on the Millennium Line. Inlet Centre Station serves the west side.
What this means for a working parent living in Ranch Park: drop off at Pasture Circle at 7:30 am, drive out Westwood Street to Coquitlam Central, and be on a train inside 10 minutes. If you commute to Vancouver, Burnaby, or Port Moody, this is one of the cleanest SkyTrain drop routines in the Tri-Cities. Our 7:30 am opening exists so this timing works.
The single biggest green amenity in the neighbourhood is Mundy Park. It is 179 hectares of urban forest sitting directly across Mariner Way from Ranch Park, with trails, sports fields, a playground, and Spani Pool. On the neighbourhood side of Mariner Way, Mariner Park has its own trails, playground and tennis courts.
The pocket park closest to our door is Ranch Park itself, at 3060 Daybreak Avenue. It is a small local playground with open grass and outdoor fitness equipment. On a warm afternoon we walk kids to whichever park is right for the day. Along the western edge of the neighbourhood, Pinnacle Creek Ravine forms a green corridor that a lot of Ranch Park homes back onto. Kids in this area grow up with real trees, real trails, and real dirt under their fingernails, and our program leans into that.
We run a full program set out of 3007 Pasture Cir. Every educator holds an ECE diploma. Ratios stay tight. Daily updates go to every parent. Here is the current lineup for Ranch Park families:

The numbers tell the story fast. Livability scores 89 out of 100. Family-friendly rating is 100. Transit accessibility is 100. Crime sits at 3,120 per 100,000, about 48 percent below the BC average. Average household income is $113,460 (median $99,295), which runs well above the Coquitlam median of $74,475. 57 percent of adults hold a post-secondary credential. 83 percent of households own their home.
Housing tracks the same story. 62 percent of homes are single-family detached without a secondary suite, 22 percent are single-family with a suite. That leaves basically zero apartment-tower stock. Population climbed from 5,307 in 1981 to 7,925 in 2016. People move to Ranch Park, they stay, and they raise their kids here. We fit that pattern. We have been in this community for over 16 years.
Ranch Park has its own small commercial nucleus at Westwood Street and Dewdney Trunk Road on the east edge. Everything else is a short drive further. Coquitlam Centre (the largest mall in the Tri-Cities) sits just past the boundary. City Centre Aquatic Complex, Evergreen Cultural Centre (a 257-seat theatre), Percy Perry Stadium, and Lafarge Lake (a 5-hectare man-made lake) are all within a 5 to 10 minute drive. Douglas College's Coquitlam campus is right there too. Quiet residential pocket, real amenities two minutes over the ridge. Ranch Park families chose it for that combination and we run the same play inside our four walls.
We are at 3007 Pasture Cir, right inside the Ranch Park boundary. The City of Coquitlam draws Ranch Park with Dewdney Trunk Road on the north, Westwood Street on the east, Como Lake Avenue on the south, and Mariner Way and Chilko Drive on the west. Pasture Circle sits inside that boundary, so from anywhere in Ranch Park you can reach us in under 5 minutes down Spuraway Avenue or Ranch Park Avenue.
Ranch Park Elementary is at 2701 Spuraway Avenue, a short drive from our door. Their opening bell is 8:52 am and dismissal is 2:45 pm. Our 7:30 am to 5:30 pm hours give siblings a clean before-school drop and a room here to wait when the older child gets picked up at 2:45. Same street network, same catchment, no scramble across town.
Our infant and toddler spots are full right now. BC licensing allows three children under 3 at 3007 Pasture Cir and all three are taken. Join the waitlist and we will call the moment one opens. We are actively enrolling ages 3 and up today, including kids turning 3 soon.
Families here feed Ranch Park Elementary for K to 5, Hillcrest Middle for 6 to 8, and Dr. Charles Best Secondary for 9 to 12. Charles Best carries a French Immersion stream. Our preschool room lines kids up for that Ranch Park Elementary start, and the whole neighbourhood keeps its kids in the same three schools from kindergarten through grade 12.
Yes. Coquitlam Central Station sits on the northeast corner of the Ranch Park boundary, with Lincoln Station and Lafarge Lake-Douglas Station the next two stops north on the Millennium Line. Ranch Park scores 89 out of 100 on livability, with a family-friendly and transit-accessibility rating of 100. Crime is about 3,120 per 100,000, roughly 48 percent below the BC average. It is a stable, established pocket of almost 8,000 people.
Yes. If your family qualifies, we help you apply the BC Childcare Subsidy against your fees. Even in a neighbourhood with a $113,460 average household income, we still see plenty of families use the subsidy, especially through parental leave transitions. Bring it up on your tour and we will walk through what you need. See our Subsidized Child Care page for more.
Ranch Park (the small pocket park at 3060 Daybreak Avenue) is the closest playground to our door, with open grass and outdoor fitness equipment. Mariner Park inside the neighbourhood has trails, a playground and tennis courts. And Mundy Park (179 hectares of urban forest, with Spani Pool and sports fields) sits directly across Mariner Way. On a nice afternoon we walk to the nearest one.
