Love Kids Daycare Coquitlam is at 3007 Pasture Cir in Ranch Park, roughly 3 km south of the neighbourhood, licensed and ECE-certified, and now enrolling ages 3 and up for September. Most families take Johnson Street or Pinetree Way south across Guildford Way, then Lougheed Highway east into Ranch Park. It usually runs 8 to 12 minutes depending on the lights along Guildford Way.

Scott Creek sits inside four clear boundaries. Scott Creek itself forms the western edge, Johnson Street the eastern edge, Guildford Way runs along the south, and David Avenue closes the north. Directly to the west is Canyon Springs, and Westwood Plateau climbs the slope to the north, both sharing the south face of Eagle Mountain with you. Scott Creek Linear Park at 2695 Runnel Drive follows the creek with forested trails and supports coho, chum, cutthroat and steelhead. The Scott Creek basin sits on the south slope of Eagle Mountain, drains about 1,950 hectares through 160 km of storm pipes and Lafarge Lake, and empties into the Coquitlam River. Hoy Creek and Scott Creek converge a block south of Barnet Highway near the CP tracks. Coho salmon return each fall and families here take their kids to watch.
